13-Year-Old Janaki Easwar embarked on her musical journey early in her life. Janaki made TV history by becoming the youngest artist ever to go on ‘The Voice’ in 2021. Her blind audition where she performed ‘Lovely’ by Billie Eilish gathered global attention.
Born in Melbourne, Australia into a musical family, Janaki was introduced to various musical instruments and Indian Classical music at the age of 5 and has grown up listening to all different genres of music. Her coach and mentor David Jaanz has had a huge impact on her music.
Picking up her nylon stringed classical guitar, she started writing songs during 2020 lockdown. In July 2021, Janaki released her debut single, “Clown” with deep and profound lyrics and delicate vocal harmonies, which is available on all major streaming platforms.
‘The Voice’ has changed Janaki’s life for good. Post voice, Janaki is working with music producers to release more of her originals that she wrote and composed in the past year.
