JAY KORNER – WILL YOU SAVE ME

Jay Korner musician

Jay Korner played drums in several bands before going solo as an artist. His music is inspired by the funk scene of the early 70s and artists like Buddy Miles, Ohio Players, The Meters, Stevie Wonder, Sly Stone, but also more recent artists like Neal Francis, Dumpstaphunk, Aaron Frazer, The Brooks, Lettuce, The Haggis Horns and more.

The single Will You Save Me is recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden, with Jay on drums, percussion and vocals, and co-producer Alexander Asp on guitars, bass and keyboards.

It is a heavy funk/soul flavored love song with an infectious riff theme. The song is all about finding the right one. That very special person to spend your life with. But when you finally do, there’s this feeling that it may just be too good to be true.
